Lovely Spring Flowers

I just love this time of year with all the flowers blooming now. Eventhough we had a bad winter, things came up really nice this year. Of course Jerry had to plant some new things. He does such a great job in the yard. I love him so much for everything he does. Thanks Honey....

They are moving to Georgia

Well Scott and Vanessa have closed on their home in Georgia this week. They will be moving in early June where Scott will be starting his new job near Fayetteville, GA. One thing good is that I can either go by plane, train or drive to visit them. Below are some pictures they took on their I-phone and my two other sons, Eddie and Ted went to help them out. Vanessa's Mom and Dad also took the trip with them. I just can't wait to go there and visit with them.

Crawfish Boil

Jerry and I had a good time last week with family having our favorite meal - Boiled Crawfish. Of course Jerry doesn't eat them so he had the Jambalaya, sausage, potatoes and boiled corn. We had a great time. Wish you all could have been there. (Melanie and a friend, Norman, Roz & Jerry and Brenda and Carol are pictured below)

My Girls

It is so nice when I get pictures of my granddaughters from their Moms. Perrin the oldest is 12 and Margaret is 3. Perrin's Mom wanted to have a professional picture taken and wow it surely is a good one. Margaret went to the park and had her face painted. Too cute. She has been really busy these days going to school and attending LSU Baseball games. She just loves it. Emily is 3 years old and what a beautiful little girl. And our oldest granddaughter Lauren who is graduating from high school next month and will pursue a nursing career. We are so proud of her.

Spring 2010

Spring has finally arrived and the flowers are trying to come up. After such a cold winter we had to redo all of our plants. A lot of trimming and hoping things will come back.. Below are a few pictures of some of the flowers and plants. This year Jerry decided to use seed instead of buying the plants. Well we have a lot coming up, but don't really know what everything is. Once thinks start producing flowers we will know what we have. Will update later.
