A dream coming through!

A dream coming through for my son Ted. He has always wanted to be a barber since he was in the Marines. He rented a building and opened his shop a year ago, and since then his business has really grown that he needed to build a new shop. Well today he has started the construction of his very own barber shop located in LaFayette, GA. We are so very proud of him.

Jacob turns 14

Well it seems like yesterday when I drove to Jacksonville, NC to witness the birth of my grandson Jacob. But it has been 14 years ago and he is growing up so fast. He use to like to have pictures taken of him, but these days his mom has to get them the best way she can. These pictures were taken at his baseball game. I am anxiously waiting for this summer when I will he will be visiting and I can get all the pictures I want.

Mother's Day on the Bayou

Mother's Day 2009 was a very special day to me. We got to spend this special day on the bayou with Scott's fiancee Vanessa's parents in Baldwin, LA. We had a great day meeting the family and enjoying real cajun barbeque and the food was just the greatest. Of course they tried to slip in some deer sausage, but of course I did not eat it. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Vanessa's grandmother, brother Dustin, and step-brother and sister were also there.

Friends celebrate Brenda's Birthday

**** JoAnn, Lorraine, Becky, Roz, Janis, Brenda, and Liz ****

A few of us got together to celebrate my sister Brenda's birthday. She is now officially a senior citizen, but don't let her hear you say that. LOL After lunch we went to a friends house to pick vegetables and low and behold, we did get stuck. Had to call for help to get us out. We had such a good time that we forgot about all our aches and pains.

My sister Jan has a very talented granddaughter. Jessica is Michael's oldest daughter and she has been playing the piano for several years. We are proud of you Jessica.

My son the Barber

This is Ted working in his Barber Shop. Like Eddie, he always had a dream to own his business and to become a barber. Well he has done it and is in the process building his new shop. Hopefully we will have pictures of the new barber shop really soon.

If you haven't noticed he is cutting his son Jacob's hair.

My son the Photographer

Well this is a first. I had never seen a picture of the photographer taking a picture before, but here is one of Eddie on a photo shoot in Georgia or Tennessee. This has been his dream and as you can see he really gets into making just the right shot.

Caton Damron

Our grandson Caton, Scott's oldest son, has a new doo. Caton is 17 years old and will be a senior in high school next year. We are still not certain what his plans are for the future, but I am sure college is in there. Here's a new picture we got of him. We love you Caton.
