A day at the farm

Margaret and her friend Jack had a great time visiting a farm. They were just so excited and got to run and play all over the place. How did their parents keep up with them?

Well this is too precious not to post. Our granddaughter Margaret (first from the right) has started taking dance lessons. This is just too cute. We are so proud of you Margaret.

 

Update from our Family

Well we just celebrated Labor Day and the days are getting a little shorter. So does that mean it is time for changes in the season. I guess it is since football is on everybody minds these days and the kids are back to school.

It has been a very busy summer for us starting with Scott and Vanessa's wedding, the grandkids down for the summer, and Clif and Barry and the boys coming to visit. It almost seems like a dream all this went on, but it had.

Jerry and I have been enjoying all of the visits and events that went on and I told him yesterday "the house is very quiet without the kids being here". Jerry is still working his part-time "full-time" job and I stay busy with my friends and keeping the house running smooth. I feel since I retired I am busier now than before. I guess it is because I sleep late and stay up late. Couldn't do that if I was still working outside the home.

One other thing - I surely love my life and everything that my hubby has given me - a life full of family, friends, and never a boring minute around here.
